TECHNICAL CONTRACT RIDER for LIBRARIES 

The Library shall provide and pay for the following at their sole cost and expense: 

  • Library balloon show does not require a stage but does need a ceiling height of 8 feet or more to have a great show – if less, please notify Dale.
  • The library show requires a preferred 10 X 12 – performance area but can work in a smaller footprint if needed. Families may sit on the ground near the stage but require a marked-off area preventing crowds from entering the performance area. 
  • A clean, level, and stable performance space free from equipment or other act equipment 
  • 1.5 to 2-hour setup/soundcheck in a staging area, best without an audience, if possible, on the day of the event. 
  • A working electrical outlet (AC power) less than 20 feet from the back of the stage area. 
  • Four batteries, NEW Duracell® Coppertop AA Alkaline Batteries
  • One chair or stool is to be used in the show. 
  • A dressing/changing area is required to quickly change from load in close to show close—preferably employee restrooms. 
  •  A cold bottle of Mt. Dew and one bottle of water.

If parking is foreseen to be a problem, please provide a parking space for loading/unloading close to the staging area.

Dale’s shows include a sound system and lights. Excellent acoustics and lighting are essential to the overall quality of the show.

Dale’s Balloon Show works best when sheltered from high winds, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures.
